"Old age often gets a bad press. Associated with grumpiness, aches and pains, loneliness, and isolation it s not something we particularly look forward to or relish when we re there. Pastor and Bible teacher, Derek Prime, himself in his 80s, shows us that there is another way to view old age.
A total of Twenty-eight boxes were packed and received! A big thank-you to Margie for coordinating and to all who generously filled the boxes.
Hanging of the Greens Service
First Sunday in Advent
November 30.
The Hanging of the Greens is a service that occurs the first Sunday in Advent. It is based on the English tradition of decorating the home with wreaths, garlands, a Christmas tree, and evergreens for Advent and Christmas. In a church setting, it readies the sanctuary (and church members) for the season.
