Each year English Lutheran Church partners with local programs and charities to help those in need. This year, ELC will be participating in Glade Run Lutheran Services Christmas Angel Program. Information on the program and guidelines are listed below. Angel tags for families and children in need can be found in the library. About Glade Run’s Christmas Angel Program

Each year, Glade Run Lutheran Services (Glade Run) provides life-changing services to over 7,000 individuals throughout Western PA. With program sites in Zelienople, Beaver Falls, Butler, New Castle, Rochester, Pittsburgh, Greensburg, West View,Wexford and Utica, children, adults and families being served by Glade Run often have other challenges in addition to mental and behavioral health issues and autism. At our schools, most of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch programs due to extreme low income, and many participants in our programs are struggling with issues related to poverty as well.

During this special time of year, Glade Run is grateful for our friends who help us secure the basic necessities and tools that make a difference in the lives of those in our care. This holiday season, your gift will support the children and families we serve who would otherwise do without. More than just a present under the tree, donated items received through our annual drive provide joy, relief and comfort all throughout the year — well beyond Christmastime.

Please consider participation in this opportunity
to gift those less fortunate with the tools and necessities they need, but cannot afford. As always, we are grateful and blessed that you choose to support individuals who can most benefit from your generosity.

Donation Guidelines

● Gift cards should be placed in an envelope with Glade Run’s tag attached. Please write the amount on the tag or on the card itself.

● Donated items should be unwrapped. Attach Glade Run’s tag to your donation so it is visible. Tissue paper and gift bags are not needed.

● Please fill out ALL information on the tag so we can thank you properly.

● If you prefer to make a monetary donation in lieu of purchasing an item or gift card, please send your check (made payable to Glade Run Foundation) to Glade Run Foundation and include “Christmas” on the memo line.

Donation Dates

● Donations and gifts are due back to Glade Run no later than December 13th, 2025. Please have your gift placed in the church library by Wednesday December 10th that way Erin Raible can drop them off before December 13th.
